About SlapMac

SlapMac is a free, open-source macOS application that uses the Apple Silicon accelerometer to detect when a user physically interacts with their MacBook and responds with sound effects. The application is provided at no cost and is licensed under open-source terms.

Use of the Software

Hardware Considerations

SlapMac uses the MacBook's built-in accelerometer. Users acknowledge that:

  • Physical interaction with your device is at your own discretion
  • We are not responsible for any physical damage to your device resulting from use of the application
  • Users should exercise reasonable care when interacting with their devices
